At Blessignbourne you can choose from various self-catering accommodation options from our 5* Gate Lodge to our most recent addition, the Oak Tree Cabin. Below is a deeper dive into the options available for you and your pets:
– 5* Gate Lodge
Located at the gated entrance of the estate is the beautiful 5* Gate Lodge, the darling of Blessingbournes accommodation. The luxury, chic 3-bedroom lodge offers premium relaxation with its wood-burning stove, country interior decor and tranquil patio and garden area.
– Courtyard Apartments
Nestled within our historic courtyard are five cosy, award-winning 3-4* self-catering apartments. Each apartment ranges from sleeping 2-3 in the Stables Apartment to 4-5 people in our Holly and Laurel.
Each of the apartments is pet-friendly and they are ideal for larger groups who can book numerous apartments together while still being located close together in the courtyard.

– Oak Tree Cabin
The newest addition to our pet-friendly accommodation is the peaceful Oak Tree Cabin. Offering a private BBQ area, firepit and attached Verdana, the Oak Tree Cabin is a hidden gem on our estate that has earned rave reviews. Sleeping 2-3 people, the cabin is a fantastic option for couples or small families.
On-Site Activities with Your Pets
– Stunning Walks
Dog lovers choose Blessingbourne for many reasons already mentioned and yet to come, but having a breathtaking nature walk on-site surrounded by lakeside views, ancient trees and magnificent blooming flowers is usually the deal breaker for a lot of guests.
Need we say any more? You’re likely to bump into some like-minded, friendly visitors with their dogs on your stroll who are sure to throw a smile your way.
– Let loose on the tennis courts
Our visitors love that they are able to let their dogs off the leash and go wild on our tennis courts. With the knowledge that they are in a spacious, safe space that is fenced off, it’s comforting for dog owners to be able to let them free here without any worries.
– Boat Trips
You might be wondering why we have added boat trips to a pet-friendly holiday blog. Well, many of our visitors like to hire a boat at Blessingbourne and go for a row out on our private Lough Fadda with their pets coming along for the trip! Definitely, one to try with your pet if you haven’t before.

– The Valley Hotel, Fivemiletown
Situated on the main street in Fivemiletown, less than 5 minutes from Blesingbourne, is The Valley Hotel. Here you will be guaranteed a delicious feast from their extensive menu that includes anything from their mouth-watering Cock & Bull to their variety of tasty vegetarian options.
Top off your evening with a few pints of Guinness or anything from their cocktail menu – you won’t regret it!
– Scotts Bar, Fivemiletown
If you’re looking for a nice, friendly bar to pop into for a drink when you have your pets with you, be sure to call into Scotts. A great atmosphere, good drink and welcoming service is what you can expect, every time.
– Pats Bar, Enniskillen
If you’re venturing further afield to explore the Fermanagh Lakelands, then Pats Bar is our number one bar and restaurant to visit in Enniskillen with your dog. The Gastro Pub is famous for its tantalising lunches, cosy bar with private booths and open fireplace, and it’s also located right in the heart of the Diamond of the town.
– Cafe Nero, Enniskillen
Need a coffee and a sit-down while out on a dog walk in Enniskillen? Pop into Cafe Nero on the High Street in the middle of the town. Dogs are always welcome here by the staff and customers so you can really sit back and have a timeout during the day.
Meet Colleen and Blessingbourne’s Resident Pooches
The icing on top of the vast majority of our visitors that are travelling with pets is getting to meet our owner Colleen who is a pet fanatic! Colleen is never too far away and always delighted to meet the wide variety of dogs and cats that have come to visit us over the years.
We have received many compliments in the past few years about how welcome our guests feel with their pets compared to other venues where they felt like pets were tolerated rather than welcomed.
