Blessingbourne’s Award Winning luxury Courtyard Apartments are nestled within the heart of fairytale woodlands and private lakes on our 550 acre Country Estate. Blessingbourne boasts the perfect destination for many different styles of Hen Parties, from the exciting outdoor adventure escape, to the ultimate in countryside relaxation… we have a Hen Party package to suit every Bride-To-Be’s interests!
We recently had the pleasure of hosting the wonderful Charlotte and her lovely Hen’s here at Blessingbourne for a farmette themed Hen Party!
The girls kick started their weekend in style by making themselves at home in our historic refurbished coach house. Chief bridesmaid Samantha had decorated the coach house beautifully to tie in with the Hen party theme including a dedicated build your own Gin cocktail corner and lots of homemade goodie bags for the girls!
Retreating into their Award winning Courtyard Apartments, the girls enjoyed a relaxing evening and great night’s sleep to prepare for the rest of their Farm filled activities!
The girls were up early on Saturday in true farmer fashion and donned their colourful wellies to get stuck into fun on the farm! First activity was feeding and petting the new lambs…
Next the girls groomed Black Beauty our pony, who was more than happy to get involved and also made a pit stop to include Crunchie the goat in on the action!
With plenty of photos and laughs underway, the girls took on their next challenge, wellie wanging! The competition was fierce and many wellies were wanged, and the winner enjoyed a bottle of prosecco presented by our esteemed Estate Owner Colleen.
Our Hen’s were quick to comment ‘who needs a BMW when you have a Massey Ferguson!’. The ladies just loved their tractor ride around the Estate and of course plenty of time for more photos! If she’s not red… Keep her in the shed!
Charlotte and her Hen’s disappeared into their award winning Courtyard Apartments to wash off the mud and glam up for the rest of the afternoon. The ladies then enjoyed a more sophisticated experience together, with Victorian Afternoon Tea in our Historic Coach House followed by a tour of Blessingbourne Manor House led by the lady of the Manor herself, Colleen!
After a fun filled day together at Blessingbourne the ladies disappeared off to the closeby town of Enniskillen for dinner, cocktails and to dance the night away.
Charlotte, her chief bridesmaid Samantha and a few of the girls enjoyed staying a little later on the Estate the next day to try their hand at boating on Private Lough Fadda. With the sun shining and prosecco flowing, we had a fabulous time hosting these lovely ladies and wish Charlotte all the best in her next big adventure… the wedding!!
